All Things Random: October

I take a lot of pictures with my iPod and most people see them because I post them on Instagram or Facebook but for those of you not on those networks, here are some random pictures from October.
Saw the "Weiner-Mobile" on our way home and had to stop!
First mug of hot chocolate was a hit
Zumba belly at 30 weeks
I washed two pillows and this was the result. That was fun to clean up.
Our one and only cantaloupe from the garden...pipsqueak just like us!
Doug's pretzel message for the girls to wake up to...so sweet!
Allie beating me in Monopoly. I lose everytime.
Leaf raking and playing
Got the crib together and the girls wanted to get in! :)
I got free new glasses from coastal.com. Score!

It's the Great Pumpkin...or not

We grew pumpkins in our garden this year so I wouldn't have to buy any! They are small, cute little pumpkins that won't be good for carving but I'm not going to give in and buy one...I promised myself that I wouldn't. However, what is Fall without a trip to the pumpkin patch!? So we went and we did leave empty handed. I'm proud of myself. It was a gorgeous night and the kids enjoyed themselves. I had a horrible day with Katelyn and so I was not in a good mood. But I perked up a little seeing them smile and have such a good time.
Katelyn was fighting with me all day and this picture was no exception. She was yelling at me and frowning and being so upset about me bothering her. The lady taking the picture said, "Katelyn." And instantly she smiles for the nice lady. Then 2 seconds after she goes on to being mad. But I'm glad the picture turned out at least!! Oh the wonderful age of 3.

Chili in the Mountains

Our favorite fall tradition: Chili in the mountains. We invited some friends to join us this year and it was a great time! It was actually quite warm when we got up there but once the sun went down it was perfect for a fire. The kids were in heaven and I was reminded that we need to go exploring more often.
My kids (and probably all kids) could throw rocks in the river for hours...and in fact did!
I help the littles make a nest since there were a million pine needles. They found special things to put inside of it. So cute!
Went on an adventure and of course they wanted to climb the most dangerous part.
These 3 ran up the hill!
Allie was finding rocks and stuffing her pockets full...she's my little packrat!
Clay telling the kids about fire. He has a way of captivating any age audience. They were totally into it.
Trying our first Woof-ums! Delish!
The ladies: Me, Lisa, Serena, Kim, Vickie and little Devry
Katelyn found a "sweeper" (a fan of pine needles) and is obsessed with it!

General Conference

We went to Utah for General Conference this fall. We love Park City in the Fall and haven't been for several years. It was a quick trip but so very worth it! And considering it snowed there the day we got there, the weather was gorgeous the rest of the time! Thanks for a fabulous visit!
The kids enjoying Conference :) They were really good!!
Our girl craft! My momma is the best!
 Katelyn and Nan
Scarecrow walk down the street from their house. This Rapunzel was their favorite!

Ski Crash Scarecrow
Minons and Gru
Argh Matey! I love my dad in this picture! I think it's my favorite of him ever!
Sweet snuggle time
Dan and Dallin
Magical Meal Debbi!
The kiddos...Dan was quite funny...wish we had those pictures! :)
Dan and Allie
Katelyn and Lisa
Pa and Allie
Doug and his 4 stack cream Oreo
Muddy mountain hike. SO pretty! The girls were very concerned about it being muddy.

Stopped at Zuppa's on our way home. First time and the chocolate strawberries were a hit!
It was a great visit with everyone. Wish it could happen more often!
