All Things Random: October

I take a lot of pictures with my iPod and most people see them because I post them on Instagram or Facebook but for those of you not on those networks, here are some random pictures from October.
Saw the "Weiner-Mobile" on our way home and had to stop!
First mug of hot chocolate was a hit
Zumba belly at 30 weeks
I washed two pillows and this was the result. That was fun to clean up.
Our one and only cantaloupe from the garden...pipsqueak just like us!
Doug's pretzel message for the girls to wake up to...so sweet!
Allie beating me in Monopoly. I lose everytime.
Leaf raking and playing
Got the crib together and the girls wanted to get in! :)
I got free new glasses from coastal.com. Score!

26 wks.

26 weeks
Amazed at what the body can do and what I am still able to do while there is a living baby inside of me. I am reminded that a pregnant lady in Zumba class should not be shaking it like the others. It just looks weird. She is kicking and loving my bladder. This time around I am carrying the baby very low. Still thinking of names...

Girl's Utah Trip

This one time Doug had a conference in San Diego and so the girls went to Utah to play with friends and family.
1st stop: Best friend Briana. Our girls are the same age and they had fun playing at the park, feeding the ducks, and running around after a long trip and we had fun catching up! Love her!
2nd stop: Park City.
Hiked with Pa to an old silver mine.
"Be a bear!" Instantly this happened.
Show me your guns.
I did visit my high school friends Jeff and Justin and met their sweet wives but we didn't take any pictures! How dare me!! I seriously can't believe I didn't do that. It was great to catch up with them. It's been 10 years since I've seen those crazy kids!

3rd Stop: College friends, Annie and Valerie at the Splash Park. We haven't seen each other for about 6 years. It was so great to see them and their kids in the flesh and not just on Instagram :)
We left the splash park and went to get free slurpees. The girls were in heaven and are already talking about next year!
4th Stop: Temple Square. The girls were in awe, just like I am every time I go there.
5th Stop: Blue Lemon with my sista Lyndsay Lou and her kiddos and my mom. We had a wonderful visit with our kids going crazy in the restaurant and walked around City Creek. I love her so much!
Haha, look at Katelyn's face :)

We stayed with Dan and Lisa and had a blast with cousins.
We had an awesome trip! The girls were so good, especially without taking naps and being carted all over the place!!

Ski Night

I made 3 attempts to go up with my girl friend's this winter to ski. They all failed due to different circumstances. So a last minute trip worked...and to top it off we skiied for FREE! I went up with my amazing friend, Lisa (who everyone says looks like my sister). We had ourselves a blast!

Retreat

We recently had some changes for our church boundries. I work with the youth girls in our ward ages 12-18. We had planned to take them up to Donnelly for a winter retreat. Since the changes happened our fearless leader, Suzy, invited the leaders to up her parent's cabin there for the weekend instead. I love these ladies with all of my heart. Serving together brings you closer together than anything else. They have such strong testimonies of the Savior, love for the girl's in our ward, they are wonderful examples to me and have taught me so much about myself, life, fun, motherhood, and everything.
To sum it up: Too short, so fun, beautiful, much needed break, best friends, tons of laughing, and food of course!
(I'm having a hard time picking pictures for this. If I had it my way there would be 75 pictures...but I will try to condense!)
We played this game called, "Quelf." You should play it...it is crazy!
Oh Ali got the best cards!!
My stylin' bracelet
Lisa in her fort
The best picture of these two!
Suzy workin' that game box. ("Wacca, wacca, wacca")
Little Brighton got to join us and was a little trooper!!

Pancake House in McCall: A must! The food was awesome and considering we didn't eat breakfast until 11:00 we scarffed it!
The ginormous cinnamon roll. Marie ate the whole thing. Nah, we all ate it and then some!

It was the ice sculpture festival in McCall so we drove around the masses of people and looked because finding a parking place was useless.
Their cabin is right by the lake and it's frozen right now so we went sledding and had a blast acting like teenagers.
You should have seen these hills. They were crazy huge and super scary!
We missed those who couldn't come and are planning on this being an annual retreat. Love you all so much!
