The Little Bug is TWO!

Katelyn turned two while we were on vacation. We were staying in Green River with Cathy and Tom so I figured we would celebrate when we got home. But Cathy baked her cupcakes and even got each of the girls a present. She's the best!!

When we got home she got her presents from us: A baby stroller, hooded towel and a water table (we'll show pictures of that later because it's not finished yet!)

She was so excited for this stroller...she strolled all night with that baby!

Curly hair that EVERYONE comments on

8 teeth

Takes her shoes off at any opportunity

Has NO fear

Falls all the time

Loves to go "wimming" (swimming)

Loves to cry for 90% of the day

Knows what she wants 

Makes many faces!!

Closes her eyes when she smiles

Loves to sing and read books

Wants to be big like her sister

Has finally stopped hitting for the most part

Wants to be independent with everything

Tries to go potty but not very successful yet

Always wants to be outside

Her emotions are intense...if she's excited she will show it and yell it, if she's made she will scream and cry, if she's happy she is belly laughing. Funny girl!

Funny things she says: 

If a word starts with 'S' she never says it (for example: top for stop, mile for smile, nuggle for snuggle)

"drawbridge" = garbage

"chetchup" = ketchup

"tato" = potato

"I try"

Father's Day 2012

The "girls" made dad an awesome tie that said, "You are a RAD DAD!" He wore it to church all blinged out...but seriously, he was pretty pumped about it.

We met our newest Nephew, Jesse...oh what a cutie pie!

The kids played in the back of Mattie's yard and had a blast (until Katelyn fell off the tramp) :(

"Wimming"

The best thing about this summer is that our subdivision has a pool! That just speaks for itself. Summer nights are filled with splashing, kicking, giggles, and "wimming" as Katelyn calls it. I'm okay with it...those are some happy girls!

Summer Weekends

I have always really loved winter because I like to ski and I hate to be hot. However, this year I'm so stoked about summer. This weekend we:

Got Allie's haircut

Went to the pool

Went to many a park

Soccer game

BBQed 

Sunday letters

Picked flowers

Made our summer bucket list

Had a date 

Played games with friends across the street {hence the montior buckled on my pants}
