Zoo + Wedding

I took my first trip solo with the kids. Surprisingly it went really well! They traveled great. We didn't get a lot of sleep but it was pretty good.

We drove to Hogle Zoo and met up with my parents, Lisa and her kiddos. I love that place and it has been years and years since I've been there. Red Robin followed which was fab.
Sweet cousin BFFs!
Just a tad bit happy!
I then drove to Layton to stay with my friend Briana. We both have 3 girls all the same ages and so they had a blast playing together on Saturday while we caught up with life. The reason for the trip was Julia's wedding reception!! We dressed up and met Lyndsay and Tyler for dinner and then went on to the reception. She looked beautiful and so very happy!! The girls were in heaven dancing all night and we watched the cute couple all night. So glad I could go and support her and see her since they are living in AZ now.

Allie and Libby were instant friends
Our girls oldest to youngest! Not the best picture but it's pretty amazing to see them all together!

Lynds and Bri: Love, love, love them!
Julia throwing her bouquet!! She has caught her fair share of bouquets...never again! :):)

Girl's Utah Trip

This one time Doug had a conference in San Diego and so the girls went to Utah to play with friends and family.
1st stop: Best friend Briana. Our girls are the same age and they had fun playing at the park, feeding the ducks, and running around after a long trip and we had fun catching up! Love her!
2nd stop: Park City.
Hiked with Pa to an old silver mine.
"Be a bear!" Instantly this happened.
Show me your guns.
I did visit my high school friends Jeff and Justin and met their sweet wives but we didn't take any pictures! How dare me!! I seriously can't believe I didn't do that. It was great to catch up with them. It's been 10 years since I've seen those crazy kids!

3rd Stop: College friends, Annie and Valerie at the Splash Park. We haven't seen each other for about 6 years. It was so great to see them and their kids in the flesh and not just on Instagram :)
We left the splash park and went to get free slurpees. The girls were in heaven and are already talking about next year!
4th Stop: Temple Square. The girls were in awe, just like I am every time I go there.
5th Stop: Blue Lemon with my sista Lyndsay Lou and her kiddos and my mom. We had a wonderful visit with our kids going crazy in the restaurant and walked around City Creek. I love her so much!
Haha, look at Katelyn's face :)

We stayed with Dan and Lisa and had a blast with cousins.
We had an awesome trip! The girls were so good, especially without taking naps and being carted all over the place!!

August So Far...

August has been crazy.
Ready for a whole lot of pictures!?

First, Doug's Grandma Green came for a visit! It was so fun to see her and she looks as good as ever. The girls of course loved her right away!!
Doug had a birthday...31 to be exact.
I took the girls to Park City to see my family and my grandma from Florida. My Grandma is so active and looks amazing. It was so great to see her. I was able to go to the temple with Lisa, we went to parks, the Alpine Slide, played games, and just enjoyed the company!
Katelyn ran back and forth on this bridge for a good 40 minutes (don't you think guys!?). It was too funny. The other girls loved it too!
I went to Girl's Camp with the young women from my ward.
We celebrated our 8th anniversary! We stayed in Boise while Doug's parents had a sleepover with the girls. They had fun, we had fun. Win, win!

And August isn't even over yet....
