Update

Katelyn is SO much better. We found out it was reflux and now she's on medicine that has helped her feel better. It's so nice to see her smiling and laughing again. It just makes a mom and dad super happy. :)
So there you have it. We are all happy. Well...except Allie who is crying in her bed because she does not want to take a nap. We can't always win can we?

Halloween is just a few days away. I love it. I'm excited and I love seeing everyone's pictures. So, make sure you share yours and we'll share ours.

Here is Doug's proud dad moment. Allie has been so great on the potty that we took her to pick out a toy. She could choose between wooden fruit that she can cut up or a tool box. She chose the tool box just like daddy's. He was beaming the whole night!

*Most of the time her car is broken and she needs to fix it* I love how they pretend. It's just so fun!

Cooking Phase

I go through phases. I get really into something for awhile. Right now it's cooking. I found the coolest blog...CHEEKY KITCHEN. She has some really fun, creative, healthy recipes. We've been having so much fun experimenting and trying some new things. To name just a few:

Chocolate Chip Cookies (for me to try a new CCC recipe is a BIG deal)

Oh they are delightful. She's a busy mom so they are pretty easy recipes. Go ahead, check it out.
Happy eating!

Our Two Pipsqueaks

Yeah, don't you just want to squeeze her!? This sweet little dumpling has been having the worst time with her stomach. She is in pain most of the day and just screams. Oh it kills us to see her in such discomfort. We are trying a few things to help her so we will hope for the best!

Allie is going to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween. I decided on this costume because she does NOT like to dress up at all. So I figured tights, a skirt, and a shirt was pretty basic. She loves it. I finished the skirt last night and it turned out really cute.
The other picture is from the pumpkin patch. They had swings that went around in a circle and she LOVED it . She was smiling and squealing and it made all the other kids laugh. Doug got a good shot on his phone!

Park City

Very fast family pictures in the rain!!

We spent the weekend in Park City with my parents and brother's family. We enjoyed all the quality time together and the fun things we were able todo. We also enjoyed the opportunity to listen to our prophet and other leaders during General Conference. What a blessing to have such spiritual and uplifting messages to help us learn and remember what is right.
