New Babies

I got to meet 2 of my favorite new babies over Thanksgiving.
First was my nephew, Dallin. He is sooo snuggly, sweet, and such a good baby. I got so many snuggles with him and it was heaven!
(His pants say, "Lil' Stinker!") I love it!

Second was my best friend Lyndsay's baby girl Lilly. She is A.dorable! She was smiling at us and was a little charmer. I wish I could have had more time to snuggle her.

Allie's Bed

We bought a bed from Craigslist for Allie. It was an extra long twin and just really big for such a small girl. So we sold it and Doug made her a headboard. It's so much better and really cute. He got the instructions from a wonderful site called Ana White. It's called the Farmhouse bed. We just did the headboard but you can do sideboards and a footboard too. We'll make one for Katelyn too.

Dentist

Allie has been to the dentist a few times and I've never remembered my camera. So this time we grabbed it on our mad dash out the door. I feel like everytime I leave the house I'm running back inside at least 3 times to grab stuff I forgot. It takes us about 20 minutes to get ready to go anywhere! Anyway, I diverted a bit. She was a champ. Sat right down, opened her mouth, didn't make a peep (which is very rare for her), and she had beautiful teeth!

Whilst we were there I had the dentist look at poor Katelyn's mouth. It's true. She's 16 months old and has ZERO teeth. He could see teeth but they are no where near breaking through. He told us not to worry. In fact he said we were LUCKY because she'll have healthier teeth. It's hard to think that...but I'm sure he's right!
Love that chair!
I feel the same way Allie!! :)
Check out those shades!
Look at her hand...she's so tense. I do the exact same thing!

This is Halloween!

Last weekend my parents came for a visit. They got to see our house, we went to the pumpkin patch, caught up, went to a Witches Tea with mom and friends, played fun games, and went for a walk by the river. It was so great to see them!

I love seeing all the kids in their costumes. My kids surprisingly wore theirs 3 times...with NO fight. I'm impressed to say the least.

Allie was a "Switch" and Katelyn was a teddy bear. We borrowed the witch dress from our friend in the ward and the hat and broom were from Nan and Pa G. The bear costume was the first thing I ever sewed (with serious help from my friend Valerie). Isn't it awesome!? I'm proud of it.

We enjoyed the ward "Trunk or Treat", trick or treating at the City of Meridian and in our neighborhood, and Allie's preschool party. I'm Halloweened out. Seriously...I don't want to see another piece of candy for a long time!

I felt like a mean mom...we didn't even carve pumpkins. I let the girls paint them instead!
Katelyn finger painting for the first time. She was loving it!
Of course she's trying to eat the pumpkin! :)
Look at that cute, cuddly bear that won't stop moving!!
Our little Switch!
Best buds
Katelyn is really into this candy stuff!
Sorting the candy!
The girls with their Boise cousins before going out trick or treating.
Allie and Sydney were both witches. Sydney's dress lit up. It was so cool!
The preschool picture attempt. Allie is snuggling up to her buddy Lincoln. Haha!
