This is Halloween!

Last weekend my parents came for a visit. They got to see our house, we went to the pumpkin patch, caught up, went to a Witches Tea with mom and friends, played fun games, and went for a walk by the river. It was so great to see them!

I love seeing all the kids in their costumes. My kids surprisingly wore theirs 3 times...with NO fight. I'm impressed to say the least.

Allie was a "Switch" and Katelyn was a teddy bear. We borrowed the witch dress from our friend in the ward and the hat and broom were from Nan and Pa G. The bear costume was the first thing I ever sewed (with serious help from my friend Valerie). Isn't it awesome!? I'm proud of it.

We enjoyed the ward "Trunk or Treat", trick or treating at the City of Meridian and in our neighborhood, and Allie's preschool party. I'm Halloweened out. Seriously...I don't want to see another piece of candy for a long time!

I felt like a mean mom...we didn't even carve pumpkins. I let the girls paint them instead!
Katelyn finger painting for the first time. She was loving it!
Of course she's trying to eat the pumpkin! :)
Look at that cute, cuddly bear that won't stop moving!!
Our little Switch!
Best buds
Katelyn is really into this candy stuff!
Sorting the candy!
The girls with their Boise cousins before going out trick or treating.
Allie and Sydney were both witches. Sydney's dress lit up. It was so cool!
The preschool picture attempt. Allie is snuggling up to her buddy Lincoln. Haha!
